The <strong>National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA)<\/strong> is charging him with <strong>promoting<\/strong> unlawful<strong> online betting<\/strong> and<strong> gaming applications<\/strong> through his <strong>massive<\/strong> social media reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was later brought before a <strong>magistrate<\/strong>, who authorized a two-day remand in order to give the <strong>NCCIA<\/strong> time to assemble an <strong>inquiry report<\/strong>, now due for submission to the court on <strong>Tuesday, August 19<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-larger-font-size\"><strong>Case Background<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An<strong> FIR <\/strong>was officially lodged a few hours after midnight on <strong>August 17 <\/strong>at the <strong>NCCIA Lahore<\/strong>, listing multiple counts against <strong>Rehman<\/strong> under both the Prevention of <strong>Electronic Crimes Act of 2016<\/strong> and the <strong>Pakistan Penal Code.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>PECA<\/strong>: Sections 13 (Electronic Forgery), 14 (Electronic Fraud), 25 (Spamming), 26 (Spoofing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PPC<\/strong>: Sections 294-B (Offering prizes in trade), 420 (Cheating and fraud)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The inquiry began in earnest on<strong> June 13<\/strong>, after authorities received intelligence that influencers were monetising the distribution of unregistered gambling applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-larger-font-size\"><strong>Allegations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIR asserts Ducky Bhai promoted sites like<strong> Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365,<\/strong> and<strong> B9 Game<\/strong> through his YouTube channel, warning viewers of what it terms \u201c<strong>e-gambling bait.\u201d<\/strong> Cops listed<strong> 27 specific video links<\/strong> as <strong>supporting evidence<\/strong>, but several of the clips have since vanished, leaving the remainder to fuel questions of reliability and intent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, was detained early Sunday at Lahore\u2019s Allama Iqbal International Airport.
